Slip-Forming uses the principle of extrusion method in concrete casting technology. As concreting is in progress the hydraulic jacks with jaws raise the formwork for the entire horizontal projection of the structure with any shape growing upwards in a continuous upward motion.
   
 
   
 
Work platforms, either suspended or cantilevered are permanently attached on the formwork system at inside and outside face of the structure. As a result of this, scaffolding, erection and dismantling expenses are avoided.
   
 
When the casting of the concrete job is finished virtually a complete structure, monolithic and seamless will be generated. Slip-forming is used at tall engineering structures such as silos, chimneys, TV towers, viaducts, minarets, etc. where no other forming technique gives the same performance and the construction time which is limited to short periods.
